Kuwait Cinches Gold and Silver at the 2017 Wake Park World Championships, Philippines

Kuwaiti Athlete Shaikha Al Noorie won first place in the Amateur Women Category at the 2017 Wake Park World Championships held in Philippines. This competition, which was held at the Camsur Watersports Complex, hosted more than 200 wake boarding athletes from over 20 countries all over the world.

Kuwaiti Athlete Khaled Al Awadhi, who won gold at the Asian Open Water Skiing Championships held in Taiwan earlier this year, cinched Silver in the Amateur Men Category, in Philippines.

Kuwait wins Gold at the Asian Open Water Skiing Championships, Taiwan.

 

Kuwaiti Athlete Khaled Alawadhi won the first place in Wakeboard competition at the Asian Open Water Skiing Championships 2017, which is currently held in Taiwan.

The Kuwaiti Team formed by the Kuwaiti Sports Club, included Saleh Al-Duwaisan, Khaled Al-Awadhi and Zain Al-Naqib. Al-Duwaisan praised the team’s encouraging results and the first place in the tournament by Khaled Al-Awadhi.

Al-Duwaisan also thanked the General Authority for Sports, and the Kuwait Sea Club, for supporting the team’s participation in the Championship.
